I was born in Yorkshire in the late seventies into a family of engineers who believed in hard work. My real education did not happen in a classroom but in the busy bars of the Channel Islands and the server rooms of global finance hubs. I started my journey with exactly three pounds in my pocket and a ticket to a tiny island with no cars or streetlights. I learned very early on that the system is always running whether you see it or not. This taught me to observe and scan rooms for the friction that slows people down.

Three Decades of Experience

I have spent thirty years at the intersection of technology and human connection. My journey took me from managing water sports centres in the Highlands to building the digital backbone for global wealth management firms and national telecoms providers. I have seen how big companies often fall into the trap of complexity where they buy tools but do not solve problems. I have spent my career bringing clarity to this chaos by steering mergers and modernizing operations to make them fast and efficient.

The Digital King

I call myself the Digital King because I believe in sovereignty over technology. I am here to unscramble the mess and bring radical simplicity back to the boardroom. My mission is to build digital experiences with soul which means creating systems that actually empower the people using them. Structure without heart is just machinery and I want to build the scaffolding that allows for sensational human experiences.

Making the Complicated Simple

Today I act as a trusted advisor and honest broker for leaders who are tired of technical jargon. I believe that if you cannot explain a strategy to a child in sixty seconds then it is not a strategy. It is time to stop the endless committees and finally get things done.
